Curriculum Publication Review (formerly “Academic Review”)

Curriculum Publication Review is now handled via a support ticket through TeamDynamix.

Overview

Publications and materials must be approved by the appropriate dean, director or designee prior to submission to Curriculum Publication Review. This process ensures compliance with institutional accreditation standards.

All recruitment materials have three official sources for Curriculum Publication Review*:

  1. ECU Academic Program Inventory (API)
  2. ECU Graduate and Undergraduate Catalogs – Choose the appropriate catalog(s) for comparison to the publication.
  3. If the publication includes data such as statistics on program growth, enrollment numbers, degrees awarded, etc., please use the IPAR Business Intelligence App to verify numbers before submission.

All recruitment materials should match the source documents above when submitted. Refer to the most recently posted API for current degree and certificate program titles, as changes occur between academic years. Refer to the appropriate graduate or undergraduate university catalog for additional program information, such as concentration titles and course titles/numbers. Refer to the IPAR Business Intelligence App for program data.

If a publication is approved that does not match one of these documents, an explanation of the discrepancy should be provided in the description section. For example, a curricular or programmatic change was approved by the Chancellor recently but has not yet been published in the catalog and/or API.  Provide the MCC (Curriculog) link to the package.
